Cristy was raised in the suburbs of New Orleans, specifically in Metairie and Kenner. She attended Ursuline Academy High School in uptown New Orleans. During the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, then only a sophomore at Ursuline, Cristy began contributing to her parents' French Quarter jewelry business by creating her own designs, stringing necklaces and helping run daily operations whenever possible. Cristy started her own company five months after she graduated from Loyola and has been enjoying life as an entrepreneur. In September 2014, Cristy was on the cover of New Orleans magazine for being one of the magazine's "People to Watch." She attended the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, and is a certified GIA CAD/CAM tech. Cristy strongly believes in the power of energy. She considers herself a very spiritual person and incorporates her own emotions and energy into her work. As a designer, she strives to expresses her positiveness into her designs. Believing in the power of positive energy, her intent is to spread happiness, love and joy through her talents. Her work has been featured in several local, New Orleans magazines and blogs. She is most known for incorporating New Orleans history and culture into her work. Her long-term goals are to expand her designs to include different cities from different states and have retailers beyond the Louisiana border.
